Founding concierge · requests open

Bring a book back within reach.

Vellora is accepting a small founding batch of paper-book digitization, digital cleanup, private audiobook, and public-edition requests. The work is hands-on while the self-serve system is hardened.

Four useful starting points

The source decides the path.

Possession, private processing, and public publication are different permissions. Vellora keeps those lanes visibly separate.

01

Paper to private digital

Start with a paper book you own or are authorized to process. We review condition, edition, scanning path, shipping risk, OCR, cleanup, and return before anything moves.

Searchable text · chapters · audio · transcript · source record
02

Digital source cleanup

Turn an eligible PDF, scan, EPUB, TXT, or Markdown source into readable chapters with recoverable corrections and clear source boundaries.

Structured text · chapters · audio · transcript · portable files
03

Private audiobook creation

Create chapter-aware audio from material you control. Voice, provider, privacy, retention, output rights, quality, and cost are agreed before rendering.

Reading text · audio · transcript · chapters · delivery receipt
04

Public edition nomination

Nominate an exact public-domain, openly licensed, authorized, or original work for the public shelf. Nomination begins research; it does not guarantee publication.

Eligibility review · text + audio edition · publication record

How the work is made

One contract. The right worker.

Private preparation is the default. A remote voice service is used only when a project explicitly chooses it—not as a second product, and never as a silent fallback. Either route must return the same portable reading-and-listening package.

  1. 01 · One contract

    A reviewed request

A verified request becomes a written job: the source, the intended output, consent, status, and a delivery boundary. Nothing is implied by a form submission.

  2. 02 · Default path

    A private workshop

Accepted work is prepared privately. The public website is not a processing endpoint, and files do not move until the request is confirmed in writing.

  3. 03 · Optional path

    A chosen voice service

A remote voice provider is used only when a project explicitly chooses one. Only the approved text is sent, and the provider, voice, cost, retention, and output rights are recorded.

  4. 04 · Standard result

    Read and listen

Every completed edition is packaged with readable text and audiobook audio by default, plus chapters, transcript, source record, provenance, and checksums.

Current boundary: the finished edition pipeline is real; founding requests are reviewed by hand while private storage, delivery, and deletion practices are hardened.

A deliberate handoff

Nothing moves on a vague promise.

  1. 01Request

Tell us what you have and what a useful finished result looks like.

  2. 02Review

We check source condition, rights boundary, privacy, scope, and feasibility.

  3. 03Confirm

You receive the intake path, deliverables, timing, quote, and stop conditions in writing.

  4. 04Make

Only then do files, payment, or a physical book move into production.

Founding concierge intake

Tell us what should exist.

We review the source, desired output, rights boundary, and practical path before quoting or accepting anything.

What do you need?

No file, payment, or physical book moves until we confirm the scope in writing.
